Description

[Detailed Description of the Invention] This invention relates to a doorstop device for a shoji door that can respond to deformation of the vertical frame or pillar of an opening frame at any time.

BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, a door stop device is generally known in which a recessed groove is provided in a contact surface of an opening frame of a shoji door with a vertical frame or a pillar, and a soft cushioning material is fitted into the recessed groove.

However, over the years, the vertical frame or pillar of the opening frame may deform, resulting in a gap between the vertical frame or pillar and the shoji door.

For this reason, the conventional door stop device cannot fully satisfy its functions, and has the disadvantage that not only the airtightness is impaired, but also the aesthetic sense of the design is impaired.

This idea was devised in order to solve the above-mentioned problem of the shoji door, and a door stop member is attached to the contact surface of the opening frame with the vertical frame of the vertical stile of the shoji door so that it can be moved in the forward and backward directions of the shoji door. By providing a shoji door, it is possible to reliably seal the partial gap between the vertical stile of the shoji door and the vertical frame of the opening frame, ensure airtightness in the room, and eliminate unnaturalness in the design. This invention will be explained below with reference to an illustrated embodiment.

(Figs. 1, 2, and 4) The door stop device 1 has a lip groove section 4 that passes vertically through the contact surface with the pillar 3 of the vertical stile 2 of the shoji door. A door stop member 5 is inserted and fitted into the groove portion 4 by passing it vertically through the groove portion 4.

The door stop member 5 is made of hard synthetic resin or resin, and has a base 6 shaped so as to be inserted into the lip groove 4, and is made of soft synthetic resin and has an opening frame formed from the side of the base 6. The abutting portion 7 is formed to protrude toward the pillar 3 and has a substantially T-shaped cross section.

By changing the thickness of the liners 8 and 9, the door stop member 5 can be adjusted to move in the forward and backward direction of the shoji door.
