ダイヤフラムを有するバルブ装置は、いろいろな用途例
えば自動車用エアクリーナの吸入空気の暖気をコントロ
ールするバキュームモーターや、クランク室のブローバ
イガスの流量をコントロールするバルブ等に使われてい
る。この従来のバルブ装置は第1図に示すように合成ゴ
ム等の弾性体より成る略円盤状のダイヤフラム21の外
周縁端を円筒状のカバー22とケース23とで気密に挾
持し、ダイヤフラム21の中央にはスプリング10を受
けるリテーナ11が配設された構成から成りダイヤフラ
ム21はカバー22およびリテーナ111こ設けられた
複数の取付穴24に突起部25を挿入して保持されてい
る。該突起部25は基部21上に円錐形状を呈する頂部
26と環状溝27が切られた頚部28から成り、頂部2
6の円錐座部の係止部29は取付穴24の直径より若干
大きくなっている。頚部28の環状溝27幅はカッ<−
22およびリテーナ11の板厚と略同寸法て、゛頂部2

確実にダイヤフラムアッセンブリがカバーに嵌合されて
気密を保持することができる。又ダイヤフラムの挿嵌部
とカバーの切り欠き部の寸法は簡単に外れないような寸
法で良いからダイヤフラムを製造する精度を簡略化でき
