The telephone is generally provided separately from the facsimile machine and is simply connected to the same telephone line together with the facsimile machine via a changeover switch, but some telephones are built into the facsimile machine. There are also some that are equipped with a speaker and can receive amplified calls instead of the usual telephone receiver. A telephone equipped with a loudspeaker reception function capable of outputting a received voice from a speaker includes a circuit for switching between loudspeaker reception using the speaker and non-audience reception using a normal handset. This switching circuit is switched to the amplification side by operating a telephone key called a speaker switch, and is returned to the non-amplification side by operating the telephone key again.

The telephone circuit 10 includes a normal receiver R, a transmitter T, a tone ringer circuit 11 that rings a bell, hook switches H3+ to H'34 that are linked to raising (off-hook) and lowering (on-footer) the handset (handset), etc. However, this device also includes a loudspeaker amplifier 12 for loudspeaker reception, and a speaker SP.
It is equipped with a relay RL and a speaker switch spsw for performing one switching. Di is dial-in contact, DS
is a shunt contact when dialing, L is an inductance that constitutes a hybrid, and I3 is a full-wave rectifier circuit.

This relay RL has transfer contacts r#+, rj22 and a make contact r123, the contact r11 is inserted into the circuit of the transmitter T and the speaker SP, and the contact rρ2 is connected in parallel with the switch H32 and the contact r
l13 is connected in parallel with hook switch H33. The illustrated state is a standby state for non-audience reception, in which relay RL is turned off and its contact rN+ is connected to the transmitter T side. Furthermore, since the hand separator 1- (not shown) is also on-hook, the hook switch H8l is closed so that a calling signal is guided to the tone ringer circuit 11. In this state, if you off-hook the hand cent, the hook switch H3+
opens and H32 and H33 close, so telephone line 3
0, a closed loop including the transmitter, receiver T, and R is formed, which is detected by the exchange and an oscillating tone is returned. In this state, if a dial (not shown) is operated, the contact Di turns on and off, and the other party's telephone is called. The output terminal of an OR gate 15 is connected to the reset terminal of the flip-flop circuit 14, and one input of this OR gate is connected to a pulse generation circuit consisting of a hook switch H34 and an RC circuit, and the other input is connected to a pulse generation circuit through an inverter 16. Communication switch 21 is connected.

, a signal current flows through the path of the switching contact 22', and the tone ringer circuit 11 operates to generate a ringing tone. When the handset is picked up, the hook switch H3+ opens to disconnect the tone ringer circuit 11, and the footer switches H32 and H33 are closed to transmit and form the receiver T and H circuits. This allows you to talk to the other party, and if you are receiving a facsimile, contact point 2
2. Switch 22' to the fax side and put it in fax reception mode. The calling of the other party's telephone is as described above, and these are the sending and receiving operations of distant thunder.

The output of the inverter 17 is L (low) level, so the relay RL is energized and switches the relay contact r(12) to the speaker side and closes the relay contact r7!3.The remaining relay contact rβ1 is at this time on the loudspeaker amplifier 12 side. to form a power supply path to the amplifier. In this state, the received voice is amplified from the speaker SP.If you set the above amplification state when making a call, not when receiving a call from the other party, you can place the hunt set. On-hook transmission is now possible. This is because relay contacts r4+ and rβ3 are connected to hook switches H32 and H33.
It is clear from the fact that .

When the CED of z is returned (when automatically received), a continuous beeping sound of 2100 Hz is output from the speaker SP.

At this time, the communication switch 21 is also closed, and the ON information of this switch 21 is led to the reset terminal of the flip-flop 14 through the inverter 16 and the OR gate 15, thereby resetting the flip-flop 14. This makes it possible to turn off relay RL and automatically return telephone circuit 10 to a standby state without amplification. In this way, according to this circuit, fax communication can be started by simply pressing the speaker switch spsw, without having to pick up the telephone.

Therefore, if you pick up the hunt set, even if the telephone is in amplification mode, it will return to the transmitter side, and from then on, the call will be transmitted and the receiver will be placed on the receiver.

By operating again, the flip-flop is re-inverted and placed in the reset state, which can be used, for example, to abort a call when the other party does not answer. In addition, contact point 2
2.22' is a contact point for network control that connects either the telephone circuit 10 or the facsimile terminal 20 to the telephone circuit 30, so even after the end of the call by the terminal 20, the handset can be off-hook or the speaker switch 5PSW
in the loudspeaker receiving state, and in this state press contact 2.
2.22' is switched to the telephone circuit 10 side, the line with the other party is maintained and it is possible to have a meeting with the other party after sending and receiving a fax. If you want to disconnect the line after the communication by the terminal 20 is finished, leave the hand center in the on-footer position and do not use the loudspeaker to receive the call, then press the contact point 22.22'.
It is only necessary to switch to the telephone circuit 10 side.
