Claims

a rotor that rotates integrally with the first shaft within the valve housing; and a second shaft that is arranged concentrically around the outer periphery of the rotor and that rotates integrally with the second shaft that is rotatably connected to the first shaft by a predetermined amount. A rotary valve type control valve for a power steering device, which is equipped with a valve sleeve, and is configured to switch a hydraulic oil supply/discharge line provided between the valve sleeve and the rotor by relative rotation between the valve sleeve and the rotor. An annular cylinder portion with one end open is provided between the outer periphery and the inner periphery of the valve sleeve, and an annular piston is fitted into the cylinder portion from the one end opening in a fluid-tight manner and slidable in the axial direction of the rotor. The piston is biased by a spring from one end thereof, and the inside of the cylinder portion is communicated with a hydraulic oil supply port, and when the supply port reaches a predetermined hydraulic pressure, the hydraulic pressure moves the piston toward the axis of the rotor. A rotary valve type control valve for a power steering device, characterized in that the control valve is configured to be slid in the direction to narrow a discharge port for hydraulic oil that opens on the outer periphery of the rotor.
