A rotary cylindrical sorting body and a cross-flow fan are installed in the lower part of a handling chamber containing a built-in handling cylinder, so that the cylindrical side peripheral surface of the sorting body faces the suction side of the cross-flow fan, and the rotation axes of both are substantially horizontal. They are arranged so that they are approximately parallel to each other, and the cylindrical surface of the sorting body is formed into a porous shape such as a mesh or perforated plate that does not allow straw waste to pass through, and a sorting body is provided between the handling chamber and the sorting body. A guiding means for guiding the threshing from the handling chamber is provided on the circumferential surface of the body cylinder, and a plurality of sorting plates are arranged in a multi-layered manner on the inner diameter part of the sorting body so that there are vertical gaps of appropriate dimensions between each sorting plate.
