Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate replacement of lubricant by forming an oil inspection hole through an oil pan of vessel engine such that an oil discharge rod such as engine turning rod usable for other purposes can be inserted thereby also using as an oil discharge hole. CONSTITUTION:When confirming lubricant, an oil inspection rod coupling 6 is fixed to an oil pan 3 then an oil inspection rod 2 is inserted to confirm oil amount and dirtiness in oil pan. While when replacing lubricant, said coupling 6 is removed from oil pan 3 to insert oil discharge rod 7 into oil pan 3 then an oil discharge pipe 5 is coupled to the other end to replace lubricant while sucking manually or through motor pump. In place of oil discharge rod 7, oil discharge pipe 5 can be inserted directly into oil pan but metal pipe will facilitate replacement of lubricant more. Consequently metal oil discharge rod 7 is employed and used also as a turning rod for engine.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an example of an oil pan equipped with an oil drain hole and a horizontally curved hole, FIG. 2 is a detailed view of the oil drain hole, and FIG. 3 is a detailed view of the horizontally curved hole. In the diagram, 1 is the oil drain joint, 2 is the oil dipstick (oil level gouge), 3 is the oil pan, 4 is the crankcase, 5 is the oil drain pipe (vinyl pipe or rubber pipe), and 8 is the oil level inside the oil pan. In marine engines, the bottom of the ship is close to each other,
Oil (1) It is difficult to drain the oil from the bottom of the pan and replace the lubricating oil. Therefore, in the past, as shown in Fig. 1, an oil drain hole joint 1 was attached to the upper side of the oil nozzle f73 as shown in Fig. 2, and an oil drain pipe 5 was connected to the other end using a manual or electric pump (not shown) to drain the oil. The lubricating oil in the tank 3 is sucked out and the oil is replaced.

When checking the lubricating oil, attach the horizontally bent rod joint 6 to the oil gun 3 as shown in Figure 4, and insert the horizontally bent rod 2 into the hole to check the remaining oil amount and oil dirt in the oil pan. do. Next, when changing the lubricating oil, remove the horizontal bent rod joint 6 from the oil gun 3 as far as it will go, and then attach the oil drain rod 7 to the oil gun 3 as shown in Figure 5.
Insert the lubricating oil in the oil gun 3 and replace it by connecting the oil drain/mizo 5 to the other end and sucking out the lubricating oil in the oil gun 3 using a manual or electric pump.

Instead of using the oil drain rod 7, there is also a method of directly inserting the oil drain/guve 5 into the oil pan, but it is easier to suck out the oil.
If the lubricating oil temperature is high, it is easier to change the lubricating oil if a metal pipe is used. Therefore, in the present invention, a metal pipe is used, and its oil drain rod 7 is also used as the turning rod of the Ennon.
