、前記一対のろ布４．６を間にして対向させた状態で一
対の挟圧用ロールｇａ、、５ｂを設けたベルトプレス型
脱水機であって、前記一対の挟圧用ロール＄ａ、 ８
ｂの少なくとも一方が、駆動機構９による内圧変更によ
って膨張収縮自在な可撓性ロールであり、その可撓性ロ
ールｆｉａ、 ＄ｂよりろ布走行方向上手側直前位置
あるいにそれに近い位置での被処理物の溜まり量を検出
する装置−１２を設けると共に、その検出装置１２と前
記駆動機構９とを連係して、溜まり量が増大するに伴つ
て内圧を減小し、かつ、溜まり量が減小するに伴って内
圧が増大するように前記駆動機構９を自動的に作動する
制御機構１４を付設しである事を特徴とするベルトプレ
