Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

(1) a paper feeding means for feeding paper stacked on a paper feeding tray;
a friction member provided in the traveling direction of the paper fed by the paper feeding means; a paper holding member elastically contacting the friction member; and a paper holding member that passes between the paper holding member and the friction member. A paper feed separation device characterized by comprising a guide member for guiding the paper.

(2) The paper feed separation device according to claim 1, wherein the friction coefficient of the friction member is smaller on the paper introduction section side.

(3) The paper feed separation device according to claim 1, wherein the friction member elastically presses the paper pressing member.

(4) The paper feed separation device according to claim 3, wherein the friction member is tiltable in the direction in which the paper travels depending on the frictional force with the paper.

(5) The paper feed separation device according to claim 1, wherein the paper pressing member elastically presses the friction member.

(6) The paper feed separation device according to claim 5, wherein the paper holding member is made of an elastic plate.

(7) The paper feed separation device according to claim 6, wherein the elastic plate is configured to be able to move toward and away from the friction member.
