るが、正確なマーキングには熟練を要しまた多量生産に
適しない。

そこで改良法として第1図及び第2図に示す方法が行わ

せながら塗料をスプレーガン3から噴射させてマークす
る。この際、両ローラの駆動は図示の如<遊び車と駆動
輪を設けチェーンまたはベルトを利用して行う。歯車列
式駆動方法も行われているが、何れにしても特別な駆動
機構を必要とし量産性の点においても難点があり、しか
も鋼管転送装置を追設する必要がある。後者の場合は、
スキッド4上を転動する鋼管1の下表面にゴムローラ5
又はゴム板を当接させ、このゴムローラ類の表面に塗料
を着けることによつて行う。図示の例では、ゴムローラ
5のローラ軸を塗料タンク6の両側に取付け、塗料タン
ク6内に貯えた塗料Tに必要な溶剤を混合し、これにゴ
ムローラ5の下部が浸漬するようにしている。この方法
も何らかの鋼管駆動機構を必要とし量産性に欠けること
は第1図の例と同じであり、とくに塗料に混合する溶剤
の蒸発損失を無視できない。これらの欠点を除くため、
自動カラーバンドマーキング装置が試用されている。こ
の装置は、機械的及び電気的自動1 制御機構を組合せ
た構造となるので、装置の保守が厄介となり操作に熟練
を要する欠点が避けられず、しかもマーキングコストが
高価となる。この発明は、上記のような従来方式の諸欠
点を除〈ことを目的とし、転動降下する鋼管の自重をj
利用する方式を採る簡易な構造であつて而かも熟練を
要せず能率よ〈マーキングを行いうろ性能を有すること
を特徴とする。この発明の一実施例を示す第3図及び第
4図において、塗料噴射ノズル8をノズル保持部材9に
装着しかつ可撓管10を介して塗料供給源11に接続し
、スリツト板12に貫設したスリツト13を通過噴射す
る塗料によつてカラーバンドのマーキングを施す。
