The present invention provides a packaging sheet that has a corrugated shape and does not expand or contract. The gist of the present invention is a packaging sheet made of a polystyrene foam sheet, which is formed in a direction perpendicular to the extrusion direction of the sheet, and has corrugated tops of low density and troughs of high density.

To obtain a foamed sheet having such a corrugated shape, 1. For example, a polystyrene foamed sheet manufactured by extrusion molding is heated and softened by passing it through a heating furnace, and then placed in a mold having a flat surface and a linearly shaped foamed sheet. Inside the mold cavities of a pair of molds, which are made of a mold in which a large number of wave shapes are arranged side by side, and a vacuum hole is bored at the position of the mold having the apex of the wave shape and a corresponding flat surface. It can be obtained by introducing the resin into a mold, sealing the mold, and reducing the pressure by suction through the vacuum hole.

The density of the troughs 3 of the obtained foamed sheet having a corrugated shape is increased by the pressure of the mold, so that the crests 4 of the corrugations have a low density and the troughs 3 have a high density.

The packaging sheet 1-1 of the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, the bottom surface 2 of the sheet is flat, a large number of linear corrugations are formed on the surface in parallel, and the troughs 3 are closer to the top 4. Since the sheet is also constructed with high density, the sheet will not be stretched even if it is pulled in a direction perpendicular to the corrugations.

In addition, it has a strong resistance to compression or stretching in the longitudinal direction of the wave shape, and has a property of being extremely easy to curve in the transverse direction.

Furthermore, since the packaging sheet 1 of the present invention is composed of a polystyrene resin foam sheet, it has appropriate rigidity, excellent heat insulation and waterproof properties, and has a corrugated shape, so it has excellent elasticity and cushioning properties. It has been further strengthened.

In order to maintain the curvature characteristics, the thickness of the troughs 3 of the corrugations should be at least 0.3 mm, and the difference between the tops 4 and troughs 3 of the corrugations should be 1.5 mm or more.

That is, if the thickness of the troughs 3 is thinner than 0.3 mm, the sheet will be weak and there is a strong possibility that it will break from the troughs 3.

Further, the difference between the crest 4 and the trough 3 of the waveform is 1.0 mm or less,
If the pitch of the ridges is outside the range of 2 to 15 mm, the above-mentioned unique effect of providing the wavy shape will not be sufficiently exhibited, which is not preferable.

The thickness of the sheet varies depending on the difference between the top 4 and the trough 3 and the pitch of the peaks, and is generally about 1.3 to 1Qmm.
In particular, those with 2 to 5 angles are suitable.

However, in the packaging sheet of the present invention, if the corrugations are formed in the direction perpendicular to the extrusion direction, the dense valley portions 3 are formed in the direction perpendicular to the extrusion direction, so that it is easy to tear in the extrusion direction. The properties have been significantly improved, resulting in a strong sheet.
