案による薄膜磁気ヘッドの一例の一部を切欠いた拡大平
面図、第６図及び第７図は夫々第５図のＡ−Ａ線上及び
Ｂ−Ｂ線上の拡大断面図、第８図は他の例のギャップデ
プス ゛検出用マーカーのパターン図である。
１は磁性基板、２は保護板、３は接着材、４は磁性薄膜
、５及び６は導体手段、９はギャップデプス検出用マー
カー、１０は凸金部、ｈは磁気ヘッド素子である。

記複数の薄膜磁気ヘッド素子の配列部の両側端に上記薄
膜磁気ヘッド素子のギャップデプス検出用マーカーが形
成されると共に該マーカーの少くとも一部を除く範囲に
上記薄膜磁気ヘッド素子の最大高さと同等以上の高さを
