Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable simple and uniform surface treatment by placing a looped wire rod horizontally, passing through a processing solution while carrying the wire rod by a roller conveyor, and applying jet flow onto the wire rod from the gap of the conveyor. CONSTITUTION:A looped wire rod W is passed through pickling agent 3 in the inner tank 1a of a pickling tank 1 while carrying the wire rod by a roller conveyor 2 for carrying. At the same time, pickling agent 3 in the outer tank 1b is jetted onto the wire rod W from a blast nozzle 4 under the gap of the conveyor 2 by a pump 5 through a piping 6 and a piping 4 for jetting. The wire rod rings that pass the position of the blast nozzle 4' are lifted up from the surface of the conveyor 2 by the jetting flow, and lapped at a position different from previous position of lapping. Accordingly, pickling is performed uniformly over whole wire rods, and the agent 3 is circulated through tanks 1a, 1b.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for surface treatment of loop-shaped wire rods, in which the loop-shaped wire rods are placed horizontally and conveyed by a conveyor, and are subjected to treatments such as plating and pickling.

A well-known method is to perform surface treatments such as plating and pickling while conveying wire rods such as welding wire rods in a non-concentric polymerized ring state (loop shape) on a conveyor. However, since loop-shaped wire rods have dense polymerized parts, the treatment liquid does not penetrate sufficiently into those parts, and the treatment reaction tends to not proceed or is delayed, resulting in insufficient treatment compared to other parts. It is.

As a result, there was a problem that uniform surface treatment could not be performed.

For this reason, conventional methods include changing the speed of the conveyor and slightly shifting the positions of the rings of the wire when the wire is transferred from one conveyor to another, or circulating the processing liquid to adjust the reaction speed. Adopts heavy wire 9
I am trying to distribute the processing liquid to the entire area. However, in these methods, the overlapping parts at both ends of the wire are in the same position and in the same part from beginning to end during the treatment, and in treatments such as pickling, pre-plating treatment, and plating, the treatment solution is not enough to cover the 9 overlapping parts. It does not penetrate, and the treatment reaction does not proceed, or the treatment tends to be insufficient compared to the front and back of the direction of movement. In particular, pickling leaves scale, and plating causes defects such as no plating or thin plating, which easily causes rust on the wire, and uneven plating causes uneven color tone, deteriorating the quality of the wire. The die is rapidly worn during wire drawing, and the die is likely to become rough.

Furthermore, in the past, the loop-shaped wire was processed while being transported by a chain conveyor, so the contact part between the loop-shaped wire and the chain conveyor was not the same part during processing, and the contact part was not connected to other parts. It has the disadvantage that it is difficult to treat.

The present invention solves all of the above-mentioned problems in the method of conveying and processing loop-shaped wire rods, eliminates uneven processing caused by overlapping wire rods and contact between the wire rod and the conveyor, and enables uniform surface treatment, while also being simple. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for surface treatment of loop-shaped wire rods that can be carried out in the following manner.

Therefore, the surface treatment method of the present invention for achieving the above object is to carry out the treatment by immersing a looped wire rod horizontally in a treatment liquid while conveying it on a conveyor, and conveying the wire rod on a roller conveyor. In addition, the entire feature is that a jet stream is applied to the wire from below the a-la gap of the # roller conveyor.

According to the present invention, since the loose wire rod is conveyed by the roller conveyor in the processing liquid, the loop wire rod and the conveyor are not in contact between each roller, and the same portion of the wire rod for processing is in contact with the conveyor. It is more effective than conventional methods in terms of uniform processing, and in addition, since the jet stream is applied to the loop-shaped wire material conveyed from below between the rollers of the roller conveyor,
Each wire ring that passes through the injection part in turn floats above the conveyor, which loosens the overlapping parts of the rings and allows the processing liquid to penetrate throughout, and the temporary lifting phenomenon of the rings causes the overlapping parts to shift. This is especially convenient for leveling processing.

and an outer tank 1b, and the inner tank 1a is filled with a desired pickling liquid 3. The inner tank 1aK of the plating cypress 1 is provided with a roller conveyor 2 for conveying loop-shaped wire rods, and the inlet and outlet sides of the roller conveyor 2 are connected to other conveyors. The loop-shaped wire W is conveyed in the pickling liquid 3 in the direction of the arrow by the conveyor 2 and is pickled.

An injection pipe 4 having an injection port 4' arranged corresponding to each roller gap of the roller conveyor 2 is provided on the F side of the conveyor 2 and along the wire transport direction. The injection pipe 4 is connected via a pump 5 to a pipe 6 that connects the inner tank 1a and the outer tank 1b of the pickling tank 1. Therefore, the pickling liquid 3 flows from the outer tank 1b to the injection pipe 4 via the pipe 6 by the pump 5, and is discharged from the injection port 4' toward the wire W, and at the same time, the pickling liquid 3 is discharged from the inner tank 1a over 7 o -. It flows down to the outer tank 1b and circulates there.

The loop foreshadowing material wf is conveyed by the conveying roller conveyor 2 in the direction of the arrow, and then completely passed through the pickling liquid 3 in the pickling tank 1 to perform the pickling process.
.. The pickling liquid is injected toward the wire from the injection port 4' through the injection pipe 4. Each wire ring passing through the injection port 4' position is lifted upward from the conveyor surface by the jet flow from below, temporarily eliminating contact with the adjacent ring, allowing the pickling solution to permeate the entire area, and temporarily As a result, the areas where the contact force with the pickling liquid was insufficient come into contact with the new pickling liquid. Therefore, each wire ring is pickled almost uniformly throughout,
Problems such as uneven pickling are resolved.

Note that the roller pitch (roller spacing) of the roller conveyor for conveying the /l-shaped wire in the pickling inner tank 1a is suitably % to % of the wire loop diameter. That is, if the roller pitch is less than 3A, the contact area between the wire and the conveyor becomes too large and surface treatment cannot be carried out efficiently, and if it exceeds 3A, the wire conveyance ability tends to be poor.

In the above specific example, the injection port was provided along the center of the loop-shaped wire W being transported, but the injection port is not limited to this, and the injection port may be provided at both ends of the loop-shaped wire material being transported, or the injection port may be provided along the center of the loop-shaped wire W being transported. In addition to providing an injection port approximately in the center of the loop-shaped wire rod W in the traveling direction, it is also possible to combine the method by applying a jet flow from below to both ends of the wire ring (dense overlapping part). It is more effective in permeating the treatment liquid. Furthermore, it is not necessary to provide injection ports for all of the roller gaps as shown in the drawings, and injection ports may be provided for each of several roller gaps. Furthermore, the roller conveyor is not limited to being arranged horizontally as shown in the figure, but may be inclined within a range that allows the wire to be conveyed.

As explained above, in the present invention, the wire rod is conveyed by a roller conveyor and a jet flow is applied to the wire rod from below, thereby shifting the overlap of the loop-shaped wire rods and measuring the penetration of the pickling solution. Its industrial value is extremely great because it can reduce unevenness and greatly improve wire quality.
