器の開口部に配置され前記トナーを付着搬送するための
繊維ブラシを巻付けてなる現像ローラと、前記トナー補
給器の開口部に配置され前記現像ローラへのトナー付着
量を規制するためのトナー補給規制部材とを有する現像
装置において、前記静電像保持体とトナー補給規制部材
との中間位置に配置され前記現像ローラの繊維ブラシを
摺擦しかつトナーを均一塗布するための塗布ブラシを巻
付けてなる塗布ローラと、該塗布ローラに近接配置され
、その塗布ブラシを起毛するための起毛ブラシを巻付け
てなる起毛ローラとを設けたことを特徴とする電子写真
