本発明は、マイコン及びマイコン利用のワードプロセッ
サー等のシステム商品番こ使用するキーボー−のキー1
個に表示された複数個の入力文字の中、シフトキーを押
す又は押さない事により選別され入力可能となる文字の
みを視覚的にとらえられる嫌にして(即ち、対象外の文
字をマスクする)使用者の誤入力を減少さぜるキーボー
ドを提供せんとする。マイコン及びマイコン利用のワー
ドプロセッサー等のシステム商品が普及するにつれて、
命令入力、プログラミングの為のキーボードを一般消費
者が操作する機会が多くなった。一方商品設計者はコス
トダウン及び信頼性向上等の為、可能な限りシフトキー
の導入によりキーボード上のキーの数を減少する事を狙
う。(キーの様な機械部品は故障の原因となる事が多い
ことに起因している。)しかし、一般ユーザにとってキ
ーボードは使い慣れていない為シフトキーの操作化より
入力する場合同一キーに複合表示された入力文字のどの
文字をシフト入力しているのかが、キー数が多くなった
