Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate a spray and reduce revolutional resistance of an oar blade provided in a gear case turned together with a drive spindle by holding said oar blade always under the vertically erected condition with a gear interlocking mechanism when the gear case is rotated. CONSTITUTION:Bearings 7 are fixedly mounted on both left and right sides of middle portion of a hull 1,and to the bearings 7 is fixedly secured unrotatably a spindle gear 8. Also, between said bearings 7 is erected a spindle 6 to which is fixed a driven ring 5. This driven ring 5 is connected to a prime mover ring 3 of a prive mover 2 through a chain 4. Also, a gear case 10 is secured fixedly to an end of the spindle 6 and provided with an oar blade 17 rotatably through an oar blade shaft 14. Further, an oar blade gear 15 is attached to the oar blade shaft 14 and connected to said spindle gear 8 through an intermediate gear 13. And the oar blade 17 is held always under the vertically erected condition by the respective gears 15, 13, 8 when the gear case 10 is rotated in the direction of arrow B.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a device for propelling a ship by rotating vertically through a series of gears. Conventionally, this type of propulsion device includes a water wheel type, but these are water wheel type. The disadvantages of splashes (K'') caused when the spindle rotates and hits the water, or when the waterwheel blades splash up from the water, and the loss of power due to this rotation are also extremely large. The purpose of this system is to compensate for disadvantageous losses such as, for example, by pivoting intermediate gears and secondary gears around a main shaft gear fixed in a gear case installed on the main shaft 6, and rotating them. The invention is characterized by the fact that the Kyo-shi always rotates vertically to propel the ship.Next, embodiments of the present invention will be explained with reference to the attached drawings showing embodiments of the present invention.
In Figure 1, 1 is the hull, 2 is the prime mover 8, is the driving shaft, 4,
As shown in Fig. 3, the transmission belt, 6, the drive wheel, 6, the main shaft, and the Km receivers 7 on the left, right, and both sides of the middle part of the hull l are fixedly mounted, and the main shaft gear 8 is not rotated on this. The main shaft 6 is fixed to the 0th order, and the main shaft metal 9 is connected to the bearing 7 through the main shaft metal 9.
A zero-order gear case 10, which is to be constructed on the main shaft 6, is attached to the tip of the main shaft 6. Also, in the center of the gear case 10, an intermediate shaft 11, an intermediate metal 12. through intermediate gear 1
3. Next, attach the leg gear 16 to the shaft 14, and install it via the crosswind metal 16, and then
17 is fixed and vertically installed. The structure is as described above, and to explain the same embodiment in detail, first, as shown in FIG. When the belt 4 is wound, the driven wheel 6 and the main shaft 6 are rotated, and at the same time, the gear case 10 is also rotated, but in this case, the main shaft gear 8 is fixed. Since it does not rotate, the intermediate gear 18 meshes with the main shaft gear 8 and its outer periphery is connected to the gear case 10.
At the same time, the primary gear 15 meshes with the intermediate gear 18 and rotates once to the left. That is, if the pitch diameter and number of teeth of the main shaft gear 8, intermediate gear 18, and secondary gear 15 are all the same, and the paddle @ 17 is placed vertically at the time of startup, the first As shown in Figure 1, all species 17 always rotate vertically. For this reason, when this species (17) rushes into an underwater man in a vertical state and escapes from the water, the female also has the least resistance without making any splashes and has a great effect in reducing the required power. ◎ Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be explained with reference to FIGS. 2 and 4. This device is installed at the rear of the hull 1. First, the prime mover 2 is installed, The rotation of the driving shaft 3 rotates the driven wheel 5 and the main shaft 6 through the transmission belt 4 as shown by the arrow B. As shown in Figure 4 of the art book, there are bearings 7 at both ends of the main shaft 6. , and install the main shaft 6 on it @ Also, the main shaft 6
, a gear case Io, a paddle jK outer ring 18, are suspended at the tip of @ gear case ■0, a main shaft gear 8 is inside, and an intermediate gear 1 with the same pitch diameter and number of teeth so as to mesh with K.
3, is pivotally supported via the intermediate shaft 11 and the intermediate metal 12, and furthermore, the intermediate gear 18 and the secondary gear 16 are pivotally supported and constructed via the secondary shaft 14 and the secondary metal 16 so as to mesh with the intermediate gear 18 and K.・Next, this vertical axis 14, K is always vertically installed Kll 17. ・With the above configuration, the main shaft 6 and gear case 1G are rotated as shown by arrow B. Then, since the main shaft gear 8 is fixed and does not rotate, the intermediate gear 18 meshes with the main shaft gear 8 and rotates its outer periphery clockwise together with the gear case 1G. In other words, the main shaft gear 8 and the intermediate gear 13 , gear 15 have the same pitch circular shape and the same number of teeth, so if gear 17 is vertically installed at the time of start-up, the gear 15 is shown in Fig. 2. Thus, both species 17 are always upright and rotate continuously, which propels the ship. However, when entering the water or escaping from the water, the female does not make any splashes, has the least resistance, and has the great effect of reducing the required power.
