Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce a matrix for a printing plate inexpensively and easily without requiring experienced skill or labor, by a method wherein films provided with opaque rules are laminated with each other, and a liquid photo-sensitive resin is washed away by water while retarding the solidification of the liquid resin to produce grooves. CONSTITUTION:A printing film 1 is prepared from a printing paper printed thereon by a phototypesetter, and a rule film 5 wherein parts other than the rules 5' are transparent is prepared. Thereafter, the film 1 is placed on a transparent plate (a) in a double-side exposer A, a transparent cover film 2 is placed on the film 1, a liquid photo-sensitive resin 3 is cast on the cover film 2 in the form of a layer, a transparent base film 4 is placed on the resin 3, the film 5 is placed on the base film 4 so that the rules 5' are located between printing rows, and exposure to light is conducted on both sides of the laminate. The resin 3 is solidified at the parts where light is transmitted, and after exposure to light is conducted for a predetermined period of time, the resin 3 at unexposed parts is washed away, whereby the matrix C for a printing plate having grooves 13 between characters can be obtained.

This invention involves overlaying a film having ruled lines that do not transmit light on top of the liquid photosensitive resin, and allowing the liquid photosensitive resin to flow away by washing with water while assimilating the multi-liquid photosensitive resin to the ruled lines. To provide a method for manufacturing a matrix for a first printing plate, in which a seal is provided on the other side.

Further, on the surface of the base film 4 that comes into contact with the liquid photosensitive resin 5, an adhesive (for example, a polymeric bond described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 3 Otsu-237 Otsu/No. 1983) is applied. A photopolymerizable composition is provided, which comprises a photopolymerizable agent, an ethylenically unsaturated polymer capable of forming a high polymer by photopromoted polymerization, and an additional polymerization promoter activated by actinic radiation.

Then, after a certain period of time, the exposure is stopped, the exposure device A is opened, the transparent plate 6 is removed, and the ruled line film 5, printing film 1, and cover film 2 are peeled off and washed with water to harden. After pouring off the liquid photosensitive resin, a matrix C as shown in FIG. 3 is obtained.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 2, a spacer 7 is provided on the periphery of the upper surface of the transparent plate α, and a liquid photosensitive resin 3 is provided inside the spacer 7.
An edge can be formed at the periphery of the mother die C by placing the flow prevention member d and by overlapping the peripheral edge of the cover film 2 on the upper surface of the flow prevention member 8.

As described above, according to the method for manufacturing a printing plate matrix according to the present invention, a three-stage character stand is formed by solidifying a liquid photosensitive resin by irradiating light on one side of a base film, and from this character stand. Since a groove is formed between the protruding characters and the above-mentioned character stand, with the base film serving as the bottom, the mother mold can be produced more cheaply and easily than the conventional mother mold for metal engraving, which requires skill and labor. Can be done.

Print film with photographic paper marked with 1:1 on a phototypesetting machine,
In addition, after making each lined film that is transparent except for the lined line, print the printed film on the transparent plate of the double-sided D light device.
Transparent cover films are layered one after another, and then a liquid photosensitive resin is poured in a layer on top of the cover film so that the transparent base film is placed on top of the liquid photosensitive resin and the lines are positioned between the printed rows. After layering the ruled film one after another,
A printing plate matrix characterized by solidifying the liquid photosensitive resin in the areas through which light has passed through double-sided exposure, and then, after a certain period of exposure, washing away the liquid photosensitive resin that has not hardened due to non-exposure.
