有底円筒状の弁体を回動可能に収納し、該弁体の中心か
ら回転軸に沿って外方に延出した操作軸を前記弁ケース
に設けた軸通孔に複数の０リングを介して嵌挿し、その
操作端を外部に突出させてなる冷却水流路切換弁装置に
おいて、前記操作軸のＯ’Ｊソング装着中間位置に操作
端側か小径となる段差部を形成し、かつ、前記弁ケース
の軸通孔内周面に該操作軸の段差部と対向する段差部を
形成すると共に、両段差部の対向壁面間に潤滑剤充填空
間を設けたことを特徴とする内燃機関の冷却水流路切換
