    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. （１）回転もしくは揺動する軸の外周部または、該軸を
    軸挿する固定側部材の軸孔内周部に嵌着されるオイルシ
    ールにおいて、摺動周面の両側縁の全周にわたり円周方
    向に沿って交互に複数の切欠部を形設するとともに、該
    摺動周面に所賽数の窪みを設けてなることを特徴とする
    オイルシール。
  2. （２）上記摺動周面の両側縁に形成される切欠部の軸方
    向長さの和が、当該オイルシーツにの摺動部の軸方向長
    さ以上に構成されてなることを特徴とする実用新案登録
    請求の範囲第１項記載のオイルシール。
