Claims

In a portable radio telephone device in which a telephone outlet is formed in the upper lid of a device housing case, a telephone mounting plate is hinged within the case and allows the telephone to be mounted on the top surface;
a spring that biases the mounting plate to pivot upward about its hinge connection portion; a locking device that locks the mounting plate in the telephone storage position against the spring; and a stopper that fixes the telephone in its attachment/detachment operation position when the telephone rises from the telephone outlet of the case, and the locking device has a lever pivotally attached to the case. The portable radio is characterized in that the lock is released by operating the lever, and the mounting plate is locked by the lever when the telephone is pushed into a storage position within the case.
