Claims

A connecting pipe having a pin terminal electrically connected to an electric blower of a vacuum cleaner and connected in a conduit manner to a suction port leading to a dust collecting section of the vacuum cleaner and electrically connected to the pin terminal. A plurality of suction hoses each having a remote control switch and a grip tube connected to an extension pipe or the like fitted at both ends are provided, and the grip tubes of these suction hoses are connected to other suction hoses. The connecting tube is dimensioned to be selectively fitted, and when the connecting tube is mounted, the pin terminal is connected to the fixed contact of the remote control switch while blocking the ON operation of the remote control switch with the pin terminal. A hose connection device for a vacuum cleaner, characterized in that a bottle insertion hole for electrical connection is formed on an end surface of the grip tube.
