Claims

a fixed outer ring that can be split into two and has a rotational drive source; a rotating inner ring that can be split into two and that is connected to the rotational drive source and rotatably supported within the fixed body; a holder that is movably attached to and presses against the outer periphery of the workpiece to hold the workpiece; a cutting tool that is rotatably supported on a pivot arm that is pivotally supported on the rotating inner ring; an intermittent rotational feed mechanism that presses the cutting tool in the radial direction through the attached pivot arm; and a feed screw shaft with a mold wheel that is screwed into the feed screw shaft, and the feed screw shaft is intermittently rotated each time the mold wheel comes into contact with pawl means provided on the fixed outer ring to feed the cutting tool.
