Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent such an accident that the paper is wound around a photosensitive drum by detecting the overlapping condition of paper fed from a feed paper device in an electronic copying machine, etc. by means of a transit detecting device. CONSTITUTION:If two sheets of paper 4, 5 are fed in error, they are transferred by rollers 1, 2 and rollers 6, 7 are rotated by the paper, and as a result a signal C1 is generated and a brake load is applied to the roller 2, and since the friction force with the paper 5 becomes larger, only the paper 4 is transferred ahead of the paper 5, which is left behind and is transferred slowly or is stopped. Accordingly, the roller 6 is rotated almost normally, while the roller 7 is rotated slowly or is stopped. Therefore, a large difference is generated between the rotating speeds of disks 8, 9, i.e., a large difference is generated between the output conditions of individual pulse signals, and as a result a comparating circuit 12 outputs a signal C2. Based on this signal C2, a solenoid 16 is made on, pulling a guide member 21, closing a passage 22, and opening a passage 23, then overlapped sheets of paper 4, 5 are discharged through the passage 23.

For example, in an electronic copying machine, sheets of paper are pulled out one by one from the paper feeder and fed toward the photosensitive drum for transfer.
If two or more sheets of paper overlap and are pulled out and fed, it may cause a malfunction. For this reason, it is necessary to detect this type of paper-like condition in advance to prevent accidents from occurring.

.. 2 is driven by a drive device (not shown), and is enclosed in the direction of the arrow, and is provided on the right side in the figure.
The paper is fed one by one from J (not shown), caught in the paper, and transported to the left. The stomach tool 2 placed on the machine tool 1 can be moved up and down according to the thickness of the paper it has bitten. The rear side of the pair of glue 1 and 2 is arranged to move the paper forward. A pair of guide rods 3M and 3B are installed with a predetermined gap in the direction. Therefore, the paper sent out from the holder 1.2 is sent between the guide rods 3 and 3B. Further, a pair of rods 6 and 7 having high friction surfaces are provided in the middle of the pair of guide rods 3M and 3B so as to be in contact with each other and to be freely rotatable. Therefore, the paper fed into the pair of guide rods 3M and 3B cuts into the outer peripheral surfaces of the pair of rollers W6.7, and advances forward while imparting rotation in the direction of the arrow to each of the rollers 6.7. .

A pair of light-emitting element and light-receiving element are attached to the recess so as to face each other, so that the position of the through hole 8a rotating as the disk 8 rotates can be detected. Also, for day number 9, a signal generating element 11 that is exactly the same as the signal generating element 10 is provided.

The pulse signals outputted from the respective pulse generation elements 10 and 11 are input to a comparator circuit 12, which compares whether the output states of each pulse signal match or do not match (i.e., phase comparison and intermittent -W/k). If it is, output the result signal 6, and on the other hand,
If they do not match, a result signal C1 is output. Result signal C
3 is amplified by the amplifier 13 and then supplied to, for example, a braking device (II omitted) provided for the low two 2 to drive the braking device and apply a predetermined braking load to the four two 2. Therefore, the magnitude of the braking load in this case is -
The magnitude of the dynamic load is such that if the paper is matched, it will be fed by the frictional force of the low two. On the other hand,
The resultant signal C, is amplified by the amplifier 14 and then supplied to the transistor 15.

Next, the operation will be explained. First, when a sheet of paper is fed normally, the paper is bitten by tool 1.2, fed into tool 3, 31, and then inserted into the opposing part of tool 6.7. , 3w6 and γ while being transferred to the left side. Therefore, the disks 8 and 9 also rotate.1. As mentioned above, the braking signal applies brakes to roller 2, but since the sheets are aligned, it overcomes the braking force of 2 and rolls 2.
Since the same pulse signals are outputted from the signal generating elements 10 and 11 and inputted to the comparison circuit 12 in order to rotate in the direction of the arrow, the coincidence is detected and the resultant signal C1
is output, and a predetermined braking load is continuously applied to the roller 2. Then, when the paper is further transferred and connected to the end of the guide rods 3 and 3B, it is caught in the 20 and zoll @And in this case, the solenoid 16 is turned off and the guide member 21 is turned off @22 and closed the mailbox $1!3. Therefore, the paper is further sent to the path 22 and reaches the photosensitive drum, where it is transferred.

On the other hand, two sheets of paper 4. When the paper is fed, it is transported by the rollers 1 and 2 in the same way as described above, the rollers 6 and 7 are rotated by the paper, and the result signal C1
occurs and as mentioned above, when a braking load is applied to the paper 4-2, the frictional force between it and the paper 4 is greater, so the paper 4
The chisel is transferred first, and the paper (SO) is transferred slowly or stopped. For this reason, the tool 6 rotates almost normally, whereas the same rotation of iw7 slows or almost stops. Therefore, a large difference occurs in the rotational speed of the disks 8 and 9, that is, a large difference also occurs in the output state of each pulse signal, and the comparison circuit 12 outputs the result tcm.For this reason, the transistor 1s is turned on, and as a result, the thread 16 is turned on, the guide member 21 is pulled, the passage 22 is closed, and the passage 2s is opened. and 5 are conveyed at the same speed and discharged into the passage 23g.Therefore, since the sheets in the overlapping state are always discharged, accidents caused by the overlapping state of the sheets can be prevented.
