Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain various types of arithmetic commands to be given to machine tools in an easy and precise way and at the same time to use the arithmetic result immediately as a working program command information, by adding various arithmetic functions to the control part of an NC (numerical controller). CONSTITUTION:A working program given from a working information input medium 1 is applied to an arithmetic part 3 via an input part 2 and receives a prescribed operation by an arithmetic command given from a control part 5. The result of operation controls a machine tool 8 in a prescribed state via a control part 6 and a driving part 7. The part 3 performs an opeation on the basis of the ten-key, keys for four rules of arithmetic and various function keys to store the result of operation at a storage part 4 as well as to display it at a CPT device. This result of operation can also be used as a working program to control the tool 8.
