CONSTITUTION:To 100pts.wt. straight-chain low-density polyethylene resin are added (A) 0.001-3pts.wt. stearyl 3, 5-ditert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenylpropionate or pentaerithritol tetra-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenylpropionate), and (B) 0.001-3pts.wt. sorbitol deriv. of the formula (wherein R is H, alkyl, hydroxy, alkoxy, halogen) [e.g., dibenzylidenesorbitol, bis-(p-tert-butylbenzylidene)sorbitol], yielding a polyethylene resin compsn. The combination of compds. A and B permits the workability to be improved greatly.
