Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a pressure-sensitive duplicating ink capable of giving an information record illegible to persons other than a related one by using a specific colorless fluorescent pigment, an oil and a wax. CONSTITUTION:An ink for pressure-sensitive duplication is obtained by mixing 20-50wt% a colorless fluorescent pigment (A) (e.g., Zn2SiO2/Mn) capable of emitting ultraviolet rays of 200-300nm wave lengths, 15-40wt% an oil (B) composed of liquid paraffin and/or vaseline, 20-50wt% one or more waxes (C) selected from polyolefinic waxes, e.g., polyethylene wax, etc., paraffin, carnauba wax, etc., and an usual color pigment and/or an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer as needed. a duplicate blank paper 1 having a pressuresensitive duplicating ink layer 5 on its back 4 is doubled with a duplicate paper 3 having a masking print layer 7 on its surface 6, and an information record is written on the blank paper by a pencil to copy the ink layer 5 and ultraviolet rays of 200-300nm are irradiated onto the ink layer 5 for reading.

When transmitting information records such as symbols 9 figures, etc., as a method for transmitting the information records copied and copied onto the copy paper only to the legitimate rights holders without leaking them to third parties other than the legitimate rights holders. , a special chemical treatment is applied to the information recording portion copied on the surface of the copy paper to make the information recording portion invisible, and when the copy paper is delivered to the rightful right holder,
There is a known method in which a legitimate right holder heats or otherwise processes the copy paper to make the information recording portion visible and readable.

However, in the conventional method, once the information recording section on the copy paper surface is made readable, it can be read by anyone after that, so the copy paper that has been processed to make it readable is When storing, there is not only a risk that the information record will be leaked to a third party other than the legitimate right holder, but also the information recording section of the copy paper that has been processed to make it readable.
Since the knee cannot be made invisible again, the same copying paper cannot be used when transmitting information from one legitimate right holder to another. First, there is the complexity of having to use copying paper in which a separate information recording section is made invisible. When copying ink is used to form a pressure-sensitive copying ink layer on pressure-sensitive copying base paper, all of the above-mentioned drawbacks of conventional pressure-sensitive copying paper are eliminated, and third parties other than legitimate rights holders It is thus possible to provide a pressure-sensitive copying paper capable of producing an unreadable information record on the surface of the copying paper.

It is necessary that the colorless fluorescent pigment in the entire mixed composition constituting the pressure-sensitive copying ink of the present invention is one that develops color with ultraviolet light having a wavelength of 200 to 300 nm. This is because the original use of the pressure-sensitive copying ink of the present invention is to form a pressure-sensitive copying ink layer on pressure-sensitive copying paper for the purpose of preventing secret leakage to third parties. Copying ink layer
In order to create a pressure-sensitive copying ink layer that cannot be easily noticed by the operator, we selected a colorless fluorescent pigment that emits ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 200 to 300 nm, which has few mites and is difficult to obtain in the industry. , for example, Z n
2 S 104/Mn eCaW04. Or C,
Fluorescent pigments such as WO4/Pb can be used. In the pressure-sensitive copying ink of the present invention, when the colorless fluorescent pigment is less than 20% in the total mixed composition,
Copy paper using this method irradiates ultraviolet rays onto the surface of the copy paper after pressure-sensitive writing by the legitimate right holder, and when reading the information recording section, the recording section does not emit enough light, making it difficult to read. This results in the disadvantage of becoming. On the other hand, this fluorescent pigment
0. If the amount of fi exceeds %, the fluidity of the resulting ink itself will be impaired, making it difficult to form a pressure-sensitive copying ink layer on the surface of the copying base paper, and causing unevenness in the formed pressure-sensitive copying ink layer. However, this method has the disadvantage that it is not possible to form a uniform information recording area on the surface of the copy paper.

Liquid paraffin or vaseline is used as the oil component in the pressure-sensitive copying ink of the present invention, and this oil must be added and mixed within the range of 15 to 40% by weight in the total mixed composition. is necessary. This is because if the total mixed composition constituting the pressure-sensitive copying ink of the present invention contains less than 15% by weight of oil, the copying performance of the pressure-sensitive copying ink layer formed using this ink is poor, and the ink is This is because the original function of 40% by weight is insufficient.
This is because, if the amount exceeds 1, the degree of contamination of the pressure-sensitive copying ink layer formed on the surface of the copy paper becomes severe, and it becomes impossible to form a clear information recording portion on the surface of the copy paper.

Further, as the wax component in the pressure-sensitive copying ink of the present invention, polyolefin wax such as paraffin, refined carnauba, or polyethylene wax is used; It is necessary to add and mix within the range of 20 to 50% by weight in the entire mixed composition.

This is because if the wax component exceeds 50% by weight in the total mixed composition, the original pressure-sensitive copying function of the pressure-sensitive copying ink layer formed using this ink will be insufficient. In addition, if the wax component is less than 20% by weight, the pressure-sensitive copy ink layer formed on the copy paper surface will be highly contaminated, making it difficult to obtain clear information recording areas on the copy paper surface. It is.

As mentioned above, in the mixed composition constituting the pressure-sensitive copying ink of the Po invention, the oil is liquid paraffin or vaseline, and
The wax used is polyolefin wax such as paraffin, refined carnauba, or polyethylene wax, and all of these substances have wavelengths of 200 to 300.
It does not interfere with the luminescence of the fluorescent pigment in the composition upon irradiation with nanometer ultraviolet light, and has the characteristics of low absorption of the ultraviolet light and high transmittance.

Ordinary coloring pigments that can be added and mixed as needed are:
When determining the film formation state of the pressure-sensitive copying ink layer formed by the pressure-sensitive copying ink, in order to avoid adversely affecting the luminescence of the fluorescent pigment on the pressure-sensitive copying ink, Preferably, it is used in an amount of 5% by weight or less in the total mixed composition.

Furthermore, the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, which is added and mixed as necessary, has high compatibility with wax and has the effect of increasing the viscosity of the obtained pressure-sensitive copying ink. In addition, since the draft polymer has a high transmittance of ultraviolet light, it improves the color development of the fluorescent pigment in the pressure-sensitive copying ink. It has the characteristic of not interfering with

Further, when the pressure-sensitive copying ink layer 5 does not contain any pigment other than a colorless fluorescent pigment that emits ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 200 to 300 nm, the color of the recording copied onto the copying paper 2 is colorless. Therefore, although it is impossible to read with the naked eye, a legitimate rightful holder who obtained the copy paper 2 with the recorded copies may expose the copy paper 2 to a mercury lamp, for example, with light of 200 to 3 Q Q nm. The characters, symbols, pictures, etc. recorded on the copy paper 2 become legible only when the copy paper 2 is placed under a means such as attaching a special filter that transmits the paper.
