される回転を外部周囲の温度変化に応じて制御するため
の、回転軸体上に支承した外方にファン部材を取付けて
なる密封器匣の内部を支切板により油溜り室とトルク伝
達室とに区劃し、且つ油溜り室側に支切板上に設けた流
入調整孔を開閉作動せしめるため器匣の外側正面に取付
けた感温体と連動する板状の弁部材を内装すると共に1
、 トルク伝達室側に前記回転軸体端部に固着
した駆動ディスクを、支切板を含む器匣内側の対向壁面
とヘルク伝達のための微少間隙を保持した状態をもって
内装せしめ、更に該間隙部内の油量の有効接触面積を所
望一定の外部周囲の温度変化につれて増減するため、回
転時の遠心力による前記駆動ディスクの外方周壁面とな
る器匣側の対向周壁面の油を集溜する部分に、ポンピン
グ機能を有するダムと該ダムに近傍してトルク伝達室よ
り油溜り室に連通した循環流通路とを設けたファンカッ
プリング装置において、前記支切板上に設けた流入調整
孔を、板状弁部材が摺動する表面積の範囲内で該弁部材
の開孔方向に逐次軸芯から外方に遠のく位置に隣接して
複数個設け、且つ前記流入調整孔の開閉機能を有する弁
部材を左右へ摺動をするため、器匣の外側正面にその一
端を係着した渦巻状のバイメタル材からなる感温体と連
動させ、かくして外部周囲の温度変化に応じて前記弁部
材により流入調整孔の何ずれせ閉孔、或いは逐次開孔、
もしくは何ずれも開孔させて複数の段階をもって被駆動
部側のファン回転を制御せしめてなることを特徴とする
