Conventional methods for continuously drying this type of fabric include, for example, transferring the fabric to be dried in a heating chamber in a meandering manner by passing it through guide rolls;
Alternatively, it is known that drying is performed while being transported by a conveyor. However, in this case, there is a problem in that while the fabric is being transferred while receiving heat in the heating chamber, shrinkage force acts on the fabric in the width direction of the fabric, making it impossible to obtain a dried fabric with a desired size and width. Conventionally, the fabric whose width has been narrowed due to drying is then expanded through a secondary process to adjust it to the desired dimensional width, but this method lacks productivity and is difficult to widen the high-quality fabric, in other words, to achieve dimensional stability. There is a problem that it is difficult to obtain a fabric with good properties.

The present invention has been made in view of the above, and in order to prevent shrinkage in the width direction of the fabric during continuous drying, a constant width spreading sail is used to prevent the shrinkage of the fabric in the width direction, thereby producing a dried fabric of a constant width. By increasing the drying temperature of the fabric by placing a heater close to the fabric moving in one steamer and increasing the drying temperature of the fabric to increase productivity and obtain a drying fabric with good quality and dimensional stability. DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention is intended to provide a continuous spread drying method.The present invention will be explained in detail below based on embodiments shown in the drawings.

In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a drying chamber having a fabric inlet 2 and a fabric outlet 3, and the fabric inlet 2 and fabric outlet 3 are provided with nip seals 4 and 5. It is designed to prevent heat from leaking outside. A guide roll group consisting of a large number of spreading guide rolls 7 is disposed in the drying processing chamber 1 for transferring the fabric 6 to be dried in a meandering manner and heating and steaming the fabric 6 during this process. These 7 groups of spreading guide rolls are, for example, spreading rolls that the present inventor has already developed and applied for (for example, Utility Model Application No. 55-4129, or Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 55-4129).
Using the technique described in Japanese Patent No. 1-24627, the fabric 6 transferred by the guide roll 7 is always biased to be spread in its width direction. Reference numeral 8 denotes an oil heater for heating both sides of the fabric 6 transferred by the spreading guide roll 7, and this oil heater 8 is disposed at an appropriate position on the fabric transfer path. 9 is a fabric guide roll without a fabric spreading mechanism, and 10 is a tension adjustment roll.

The above is the configuration of the first embodiment. Next, to describe its operation, the fabric 6 impregnated with the processing liquid outside the drying processing chamber 1 is supplied into the drying processing chamber 1, and the fabric is passed between the guide rollers. By guiding the fabric through 7 and moving it close to the oil heater 8, the fabric is heated to about 120'C from the heat generated by the oil heater (300°C), thereby achieving the desired drying process. be done. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the fabric supplied into the drying chamber 1 is guided by seven groups of spreading guide rolls disposed at close intervals, at least until its dimensions are stabilized, and a spreading action is performed in the width direction of the fabric. Because of this, the fabric is not shrunk in the width direction, and therefore the drying process has the effect of having good dimensional stability.

As described above, in the process of drying a fabric to be dried in a heating drying chamber, the fabric is brought into contact with a spreading roll until the fabric is dried and the fabric becomes at least dimensionally stable. Since the present invention is a method for continuously spreading and drying a fabric, which is characterized by preventing shrinkage in the width direction of the fabric, a dried fabric with good dimensional accuracy can be obtained in a drying chamber. Therefore, there is no need to adjust the width of the fabric by secondary processing as in the conventional method, and there is an effect that a fabric of a predetermined width can be continuously produced, and a fabric with good dimensional stability can be produced.
