して係合し且つ前記ウオームシャフトに沿って摺動する
パワーピストンと、該パワーピストンのラックと係合す
るセフフタシャフトと、前記パワーピストン内に組込ま
れ且つ前記ステアリングナツトに固定されたバルブピス
トンにより作動させられるコントロールバルブ装置とを
有し、前記コシトロールバルブ装置が前記パワーピスト
ンの両側のシリンダ室をオイルポンプからの油路および
オイルリザーバへの油路に導通制御するためのバルブピ
ストンを有し、前記バルブピストンの両側に設けたボア
に前記パワーピストンに固定された反力ナツトを挿入し
前記ボア内に反力室を形成し、さらに、前記両シリンダ
室を車速信号に応じてその絞りが変化する第1の可変オ
リフィスおよび前記オイルポンプからの油路の圧に応じ
てその絞りが変化する第2の可変オリフィスを介して導
