Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively convert energy of waves into rotary energy, by fixing both ends of a sealed vessel to floats, connecting rotary vanes to a generator, providing the rotary vanes in the sealed vessel and filling a suitable amount of fluid in the sealed vessel. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of a sealed vessel 2 are fixed to floats 1, and a liquid reservoir 3 is provided intenally of the sealed vessel 2, then a bottom plate 4 and upper plate 5 of the liquid reservoir 3 are formed in a slope toward its center part. Fluid 7 of suitable amount is filled in the reservoir 3. If the floats 1 are caused repeating vertical motion by movement of waves, the fluid 7, filled in the sealed vessel 2, causes circulatively flowing action, and a rotary shaft 8 is rotated in a fixed direction by this circulatively flowing action. Electric power is generated by a generator 12 connected to the rotary shaft 8.

This invention was made to eliminate the drawbacks of the conventional ones as described above, and includes a rotating base connected to a generator in a sealed container whose both ends are fixed to a plurality of floating bodies floating in parallel. Another object of the present invention is to provide a wave power generation layer that is filled with an appropriate amount of fluid so that the fluid flows due to the movement of the floating body due to waves, and the flow of the fluid causes the rotary blades to rotate and generate electricity.

以下この発明の一実施例を図面について説明する。An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

In FIGS. 1 to 6, reference numeral 1 indicates a plurality of floating bodies floating in parallel on the water surface. Reference numeral 2 denotes a sealed container whose both ends are fixed to the floating body 1, which has a fluid droplet 6 inside, and whose bottom plate 4
The upper plate 5 is formed to be inclined toward the center. 7
is the fluid filled in the fluid droplet 6 of the liquid 2 in the sealed container 2 in an appropriate amount. Reference numeral 8 denotes a rotating shaft that is supported approximately at the center of the sealed container 2, and is rotatably supported by bearings 9 and 10. One end of this rotating shaft 8 penetrates through the sealed container 2, protrudes to the outside, and is connected to a generator 12 via a suitable speed increasing device 11. 13 is an upper arm, and 14 is an upper arm, and a plurality of pairs are fixed to the rotating shaft 8, one pair each on the upper and lower sides. 15
are bearings attached near the tips of the upper and lower arms 16 and 14.

In relation to the arms located at opposite positions sandwiching the rotating shaft 8, they are attached at symmetrical positions with respect to the rotating shaft 8.

A vane 16 is rotated by the fluid 7 due to wave motion, and is rotatably supported by a bearing 15 via a pin 17, 18. This vane 16 has a height approximately equal to the distance between the pair of upper and lower arms 15 and 14. Therefore, although the blade 16 is rotatable, its rotation is restricted when it comes into contact with the upper and lower arms 16 and 14.

When the floating body 1 moves up and down due to waves, the sealed container 2 tilts and the fluid 7 filled inside flows.

Here, since the bottom plate 4 and top plate 5 of the sealed container 2 are inclined toward the center portion 6, the fluid flows efficiently and reciprocating flow is performed smoothly.

Therefore, when the fluid 7 flows in the direction of the arrow A in FIG. 5, each blade 16 is pressed and rotated in the direction of the liquid flow A by the pressure of the fluid 7 flowing in the horizontal direction.

Here, between the arms in opposing positions with the rotating shaft 8 in between,
Since the bearing 15 that rotatably supports the blade 16 is mounted in a symmetrical position with respect to the rotating shaft 8, the blade 16-a located on the - side is rotated by the upper and lower arms 13 and 14. movement is blocked, and fluid pressure is no longer received. On the other hand, the blade 16-b located on the other side is disengaged from the upper and lower arms 13 and 14, rotates to a position parallel to the liquid inflow direction, and receives almost no fluid pressure.

Therefore, there is a large difference in the rotational moment caused by the fluid pressure between the blades 16-a located on one side and the blades 16-b located on the other side, which face each other, and the fluid 7 is caused by the vertical movement of the waves. As a result, the rotating shaft 8 is rotated in a fixed direction via the blades 16.

Next, when the fluid 7 flows in the direction of arrow B (opposite to the direction of arrow A) in FIG. The rotating shaft 8 is rotated in the same direction as when the fluid 7 flows in the A direction by the same operation as described above.

As the floating body 1 repeatedly moves up and down due to the waves, a flow occurs in the fluid 7- filled in the sealed container 2, and this flow causes the rotating shaft 8 to rotate in a fixed direction. Therefore, if the generator 12 is connected to the rotating shaft 8 via a suitable speed increaser 11 (in some cases, the generator 12 may be connected directly without the speed increaser 11), electric power can be generated. Furthermore, by providing a suitable flywheel device (not shown) at the other end of the generator, it is possible to smoothly rotate the rotating shaft 80 and obtain high-quality electric power.

As described above, according to the present invention, a rotating blade connected to a generator is provided in a sealed container fixed at both ends to a plurality of floating bodies floating in parallel on a horizontal plane, and an appropriate amount of fluid is filled. Therefore, the flow of fluid causes the blades to rotate and generate electricity, converting the energy of the waves into rotational energy, which has the effect of continuously generating electricity.
