Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the capacity of a kiln to load a burned product, by transforming a flame, injected from a burner, into a flat flame pattern, by providing a flame shaping and flame leading port to a burner equipped to a tunnel kiln. CONSTITUTION:A burner flame, injected into the inlet port 23 of a flame pattern transforming and flame leading hole 22 provided to a refractory block 21, from a high speed bar type burner 10, is led into a small gap 16 above a trolley 11, after hitting against the lower half of a wall 24 and the upper half of a wall 25 both of which are extended to a flat sectional end 26, and being transformed into a flat and modified flame pattern in a flame discharging port 27. The flames, entered into the small gap 16, heat the under side of a shelf plate 15 to perform vitrification of the material 17.
