Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain synthesized pictures easily by forming the latent images corresponding to the light information differing successively on an image carrier, and transferring the same successively with two developing means. CONSTITUTION:The 1st picture information is applied from an optical path 3 onto a drum 1 which is electrostatically charged with an electrostatic charger 2, and the 1st latent image is formed in an area P1. The 1st latent image is developed by the 1st developing means 4 and is turned to a sensible image as the 1st picture. On the other hand, a copying machine 5 is fed by a feed roller 6 via a timing roller 7 up to the position S1 of the 1st transfer position. The 1st picture is transferred on a transfer material 5. The light image corresponding to the 2nd picture is irradiated to the area P2 spaced at a distance D from the area P1 on a photosensitive drum 1 to form the 2nd latent image. This area P2 is developed by arriving at the position of the 2nd developing means 9 in accordance with the rotation of the drum 1, and is turned to a sensible image as the 2nd picture.

が、第2タイミングローラ−2を介して第2搬送ガイド
11.13の間を通って第2転写手段位置83に送られ
る。この第2転写手段位置−において転写材17の先端
が第2−像の先端と合致するよう、前記第2タイミング
ローラ12によシ同期がとられる。勿論、第1・第2画
像形成域Pt −Ptの間隔りも同期に好適に設定され
