Claims (4)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. （１）　　外筒の前後にテーパ外筒を取り付けた前記外
    −簡の両端内部に環状の支持板を設け、該支持板と触媒
    担体の縁部との間に端部緩衝材を介在させて触媒担体を
    支持し、前記外筒と触媒担体の外周面との間に周部緩衝
    材を介在させて触媒担体を保持して、外筒内に触媒担体
    を内蔵した触媒コンバータにおいて、上記支持板の少な
    くとも前方の支持板を、外筒の端部を包囲する断面コ字
    状部を有する環状の支持板とし、該支持板を外筒にテー
    パ外筒と共に全周溶接で固定し、支持板と触媒担体の縁
    部との間に環状の遮蔽板を設けたことを特徴とする触媒
    コンバータ。
  2. （２）両支持板を、外筒の端部を包囲する断面コ字状部
    を有する環状の支持板としたことを特徴とする実用新案
    登録請求の範囲第１項記載の触媒コンバータ。
  3. （３）　　環状の遮蔽板を、断面り字状の遮蔽板とした
    ことを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項記載の
    触媒コンバータ。
  4. （４）環状の遮蔽板を、断面クランク状の遮蔽板とした
    ことを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項記載の
    触媒コンバータ。
