Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance of a switchboard by exhausting the air by reversing a suction fan and vibrating a filter by a vibrating plate and thereby removing dust adhering on the filter. CONSTITUTION:In normal time, the outside air is introduced by a suction fan 9 into a box 1 through an air vent 4 and a filter 12, and electric parts 7 are cooled by the air. The air is exhausted from an opening of a shielding plate 6 through a dust guard plate 5. In maintenance operation, the suction fan 9 is reversed to apply reverse pressure to the filter 10. At the same time, a vibrating device 21 is operated to obtain the direction of air current in the box 1 as shown by arrows 24-29. The air is exhausted from the air vent 4 through the filter 10, and a vibrating plate 22 is vibrated by the vibrating device 21. Since the vibrating plate 22 is connected with the filter 10, the filter is also vibrated and dust adhering on the filter 10 is removed by the vibration and exhaust air.

When electrical appliances are operated, they generate heat and their temperature rises, but for electrical appliances made of metal, insulating materials, and other materials, excessive temperature rises can damage the insulation performance and seriously shorten the lifespan. For this reason, a method is adopted in which air is pumped in to increase the cooling effect of the wind.
