Abstract

PURPOSE:To practicably unitize and prefabricate fittings used for a titled joint, by using a nipple and sockets of which respective one ends are threaded to be reverse-handed, and connecting both pipes so that the fittings are mutually screwed up. CONSTITUTION:A pipe 7 having a reverse-handed taper thread 2 at its one end and a pipe 8 having a normally threaded socket 6 are fastened together without turning both pipes 7 and 8, but only by turning a nipple 1, having a reverse- handed taper thread at its one end, in the normal direction.
