ガスダム部内8は、ケーブルの一部の外被16 を剥堆
って露出された撚線型テンションメンバルと心1MI#
14とを堀込むように充填されたダム光横樹脂加から成
っている。テンションメンバルはその繕出部分の一部が
切除されて切離されて2つの相対する部分12a、12
bt−有し、これらの部分12a、12bは第3図に示
すように仕切壁22を有する金属スリーブ24に挿入さ
れ圧縮接続されている。従って、撚線型テンションメン
バの11m縁の線間を通して流れるガスは金属スリーブ
24の仕切壁22によって遮断され、またこのガスダム
部18内でテンションメンバuri金属スリーブ24に
