Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ステアリングコラム内にステアリングホイールを取り付
    けたステアリングシャフトを配設し、前記ステアリング
    コラムのステアリングホイール側を車体側に支持機構を
    介して支持してなり、ステアリングホイール側から加わ
    る衝撃荷重をステアリングコラム、ステアリングシャフ
    トの軸方向の移動により吸収するステアリングコラム装
    置において、上記支持機構を、車体側に固定されるとと
    もにステアリン、グコラムの下面側にそのステアリング
    コラムの軸方向とほぼ直角方向に沿って配置される支持
    杆と、この支持杆に対応してステアリングコラムの下面
    側に取着され上記支持杆上衝撃吸収方向側に離脱可能に
    係合してステアリングコラムを支持するとともにステア
    リングホイールから衝撃を受けたときには支持杆から離
    脱して支持杆によるステアリングコラムの支持に導く誘
    導部材とから構成したことを特徴とするステアリングコ
    ラム装置。
