[Detailed Description of the Invention] As known from Japanese Patent Publication No. 56-4167, the method for manufacturing wire assemblies is as follows: covered wires are routed around using a so-called numerically controlled automatic hand, and are set upright on the top of a wiring table. A method is generally known in which the cable is bent by a branch bin and connected to terminals provided in connector housings disposed at various locations around the wiring table. However, in this method, (1) the housing insertion positions are dispersed, and furthermore, the already inserted wire becomes an obstacle, making the insertion work difficult.

■It had drawbacks such as requiring a complicated and expensive wiring table (drawing board). The present invention was made to eliminate these drawbacks, and among the plurality of housings used in the set 111Is,
First, the terminals to be inserted into each terminal hole provided in the first housing and the covered wires to be connected to the terminals are crimped, and then sequentially inserted into the terminal holes to wire the covered wires to be connected to the first housing. complete. In this way, the wiring of each housing spatula is carried out in sequence, but of course, in the process after the installation) J. It will be crimp-connected to the other end of the covered wire connected to the terminal.

Therefore, until this work is started, the covered wire whose terminal has been inserted is not cut into the hole, but is kept connected to the WLIiA supply source, and when this work is started, the covered wire is first taken out and measured. Add or subtract from the wire length of the measuring device, then pull out or pull back the III wire further to reach the predetermined circuit length (covered wire length), grip the wire at a predetermined point with the auto hand, and If a method is adopted in which the wire is cut at a certain point, a terminal is crimped thereon, and then inserted into a terminal hole in a subsequent housing, no conventionally known wiring stand or automatic wiring device is required.

To further summarize the present invention, if the most ideal method of the present invention is adopted, one terminal crimping device and one housing insertion device are each provided at a predetermined location, and the terminals are inserted into the housing after crimping one after another by an automatic hand. If this is done, it is easy to change the wire assembly of any circuit by simply replacing the automatic hand and the computer program that controls and instructs the amount of pull-out and pull-back of the covered wire (wire length). Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings.

[Scope of Claims] (1) A measuring device for drawing out a covered wire supplied from an electric wire supply source and measuring the length of the drawn wire, a crimping device for crimping a terminal on a cut end of the covered wire, and a terminal on the cut end. A housing support base that sequentially supplies and holds connector housings having terminal holes for inserting the wires, and an automatic hand that grips and carries the covered wire according to the instructions of a computer program. After gripping and inserting the terminal crimped onto the cut end of the covered wire with a crimping device into the terminal hole of the first housing, the next covered wire is gripped and the terminal is similarly inserted into another terminal hole of the housing. , and the like, after completing the work of inserting the terminals into the predetermined terminal holes of the housing, the first housing is removed from the housing support, and then the same work is performed on the second housing. Law. (The covered wire connected to the housing after the specified insertion of the terminal has been completed is held so that it can pass through while continuing to the wire supply source.) Wire support arms are arranged in parallel, and the covered wire is inserted into the housing according to the specified length measured by the measuring device. 518!t in length or pulled back, and after having the automatic hand grip the part according to the predetermined length, the terminal is inserted into another terminal hole of the housing through terminal crimping work. The wire assembly manufacturing method according to item 1. (8) Only the intermediate coating layer of the coated wire is interrupted, and the exposed core wire is supported by another wire support arm adjacent to the electrode plated support arm of the coated wire. The core of other coated wires! It is characterized by the fact that the wires are gathered together and connected in the same way. When inserting the wire into a glad hole, the automatic hand is equipped with a guide arm that protrudes in the direction of the terminal. The manufacturing method of the set 111M according to Items 1 to 118, characterized in that the covered wire is prevented from buckling by the insertion force applied to the housing. Built-in terminals of various shapes suitable for fitting and use with the terminals inside are assembled in advance, and a male or female terminal receiving part of a uniform shape is attached to the end opposite to the mating terminal of the built-in terminal. 5. The wire assembly manufacturing method according to any one of items 1 to 4, wherein the assembled wire is connected to a female or male side terminal which is provided and crimped to the end of the covered wire.
