、他方の配管系統に接続された他方のりャホイールシリ
ンダに供給される制動液圧との圧力差に基づいて作動す
るバランスピストンが、該他方の配管系統に設けられた
開閉弁を開閉させることにより、該他方のりャホイール
シリンダに供給される制動液圧を前記一方のりャホイー
ルシリンダに供給される制動液圧と同等になるように制
御する車両用2系統制動装置における液圧制御装置にお
いて、 前記他方のりャホイールシリンダに供給される制動液圧
を制御する前記バランスピストンの制御動作に要する移
動量よりも大きい間隔を隔てて該バランスピストンの一
端に対向する大径部と、該′大径部側の第1受圧面の反
対側に該第1受圧面より小さい面積の第2受圧面を備え
た小径部とを有する段付ピストンと、 貫通穴を備え、該貫通穴に前記段付ピストンの小径部を
摺動可能に嵌め入れるとともに、該小径部と前記大径部
との間に形成された段部に当接し、該小径部の第2受圧
面と共に前記第1受圧面よりも大なる受圧面を構成する
