Claims (1)
- ポンプ室とこのポンプ室の下方において該ポンプ室に略
接線方向に連通ずる冷却水吸込通路とを備えてシリンダ
ブロック側端面に固着されるポンプカバーと、前記シリ
ンダブロックのインペラ嵌装孔からウォータジャケット
内に突出配置されて前記ポンプ室よりウォータジャケッ
ト内に冷却水を吐出するインペラとからなるエンジンの
ウォータポンプ装置において、前記ポンプカバーのシリ
ンダブロック側合わせ面にグイキャストにより型抜きさ
れたｐ字状凹部を形成し、該凹部の膨大部をポンプ室、
直線部を冷却水吸込通路とするとともに、前記シリンダ
ブロックのインペラ嵌装孔周縁部に水切りガイドを形成
したことを特徴とするエンジンのウォータポンプ装置。
