業を行なうと、機枠の前端側の左右方向の変位が、その
機枠の前端側を支持している自由車輪により、所望の量
づつ容易に行なえるようになり、かつ、その変位により
左右に動いた無端鎖掘削体の進行方向前端部位が、新た
な進行方向を規制する蛇として作用し、その方向に、左
右に一対の駆動車輪で押し出されるようになって所望の
