Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a titled rolling mill which is so constructed as to permit easy and safe changing of work rolls and intermediate rolls by providing wheels in the end parts of metallic chocks for work rolls and intermediate rolls and making the same travelable on rails provided on a housing side. CONSTITUTION:In multistage cluster rolling mills disposed with a pair of upper, lower work rolls 2, respectively two pieces of a set of upper and lower intermediate rolls 3, plural pieces of backup rolls 4, etc. vertically symmetrically, wheels 17, 16 are provided in the end parts on the front and rear in the rolling direction of metallic chocks 8 for the rolls 2 and metallic chocks 7 for the rolls 3 which support the rolls 2 and the rolls 3 respectively rotatably. 目的全達成する本発明の構成は、上下一対のワークロー
ルと、同ワークロールを支持する上下各2本1組の中間
ロールと、同中間ロールを抑圧支持する複数個の補強ロ
ールとが上下対称に配設された多段クラスタ圧延機にお
いて、前記ワークルールおよび前記中間p−ルの夫々の
両端部に同ワークロールおよび同中間ロール′fI:回
転可能に支持するメタルチョックを設け、同メタルチ1
ツクの夫々の圧延方向前後の端部に前記ワークルールお
よび前記中間ロールを単独若しくは同時に軸方向に搬鉱
し得る車輪を設ける一方、圧延機のハウジング側に前記
車輪と接離可能なレールを設は九ことを特徴とする。

およびその制御装fを設けることでロールの搬出入作業
の自動化も可能となシ、作業時間の短縮化が図れるとと

力化上図り、高能率なロール組替を行なうことができる
