However, according to this method, since the axial hole of the rubber mold insulation reinforcing tube 12 is designed to be smaller than the outer diameter of the insulation spacer 14 provided on the end of the cable core 11, it is difficult to connect the cable conductors in advance. Reinforcement tube 1 inserted over one cable core 11
2 onto the conductor connection part 13, the cable core 1
The frictional resistance with the insulating spacer 14 provided on the terminal of the 1 is extremely large, and even if a lubricant is applied to the interface, a large pressing force is still required, especially in the case of large connections for high voltage. Since a pressing tool had to be used, there were defects such as deformation and damage of the molded insulation reinforcing tube 12.

A rubber molded insulation reinforcing tube designed to be slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the insulating spacer 4 to be placed over the end of the core 1 is used. First, a lubricant injection hole 3 is bored in one end of the rubber molded insulation reinforcing tube 2. and insert it over one cable core 1 to be connected, and after fitting the insulating spacers 4, 4 to the terminals of the cable cores 1, 1 and connecting the cable conductor with a sleeve, insert the cable conductor onto the connecting part 5. After applying the spacer 5' with its both ends brought into close contact with the insulating spacers 4, 4, the end of the insulating reinforcing tube 2 inserted over one cable core is placed over the insulating spacer 4, as shown in FIG. After sealing via the coil spring 7 and sealing the other end to the cable core 1 via the rubber bush 6 and the coil spring 7, lubricant 8 is press-fitted from the injection hole 3 of the insulation reinforcing tube 2, and the cable core 1 and the insulation spacer 4 are sealed. After reducing the contact friction at the fitting interface with the insulating reinforcing tube 2 and moving it to a predetermined position by applying a force in the direction of the arrow, the pressure tank 9 and the seal members 6, 7 are removed. As shown in FIG. 2, the insulation reinforcing tube 2 is inserted onto a predetermined conductor connection portion 5.

The lubricant 8 is press-fitted into the fitting interface with the conductor to reduce contact friction resistance, and the reinforcing tube 2 is moved and inserted onto the predetermined conductor connection part, so large force is not required as in the conventional method. Insertion can be easily and quickly carried out, and there is no risk that the insulation reinforcing tube 2 will be deformed or damaged during insertion.
