In order to ensure the safety of vehicle occupants, many passive belt devices have recently been proposed and put into practical use that automatically retract the seat belt in response to the opening and closing of a door. The belt winding device usually uses a spiral spring that has one end fixed to a belt winding shaft and the other end fixed to a spring case, and uses its unwinding elasticity to rotate the winding shaft and wind the belt around the winding shaft. Since the spring case is fixed, when the belt is pulled out from the take-up device when the door is opened, the unwinding force of the belt gradually increases as the spring tightens. However, there is a problem in that the pull-out resistance of the belt increases and the force required to open the door increases, which is a problem in passive belt devices. Focusing on the problem, we weakened the belt winding force of the spiral spring of the winding device when the door was opened, in conjunction with the opening and closing of the door.
The purpose is to apply the necessary belt winding force to the spiral spring of the winding device when the door is closed, making it easier to open and close the door and restrain and release the occupant, thereby improving the function of the belt as a passive belt device. The spring case that houses the spiral spring is rotatable, and the spring case is rotated by the reciprocating movement of a drive member that is reciprocated by a response amplification mechanism that responds to the opening and closing of the door. do.

Fig. 1 shows an example of a passive belt device to which the device of the present invention is applied, and in the figure, 1 is a vehicle body, 2 is a door, 3 is a shoulder bell) 3a and a waist belt 3b connected thereto are formed in a continuous belt shape. It is a continuous belt, and one end of the continuous belt 3 on the shoulder belt side is urged toward the retracting side and stored around an emergency lock retractor 5 attached near the upper part of the center pillar 4 in the center of the vehicle body 1. The other end of the roof side 6 is inserted into a guide link 9' attached to a slider 9 that slides along a guide rail 8 extending behind the front pillar γ, and lowers diagonally over the seat 10, thereby lowering the seat. Buckle stalk 11 stuck on the center side of 100 vehicles
It is inserted through a tongue 12 that is removably attached to the belt, is folded back, becomes a waist belt 3b, crosses the seat 10 again, and runs along a guide rail 13 that is diagonally installed upward from the lower part of the open side inside the door 2. The emergency lock retractor 15VC is wound and housed in a guide ring 14' attached to a slider 14 which slides on the door 2, and is provided at the lower part of the open side of the door 2.

Note that both retractor 5 and retractor 15 normally wrap the belt around so that it can be pulled out freely so as not to impede the movement of the occupant, but in the event of a collision where sudden acceleration or deceleration occurs. The vehicle is equipped with a well-known emergency locking mechanism that automatically locks the belt and restrains the occupant when the vehicle tilts, using the inertia of the belt to pull out or the vehicle's body response.

As described above, the present invention relates a drive member driven by a response amplification mechanism that operates in response to opening and closing of a door to a spring case rotatably mounted on a winding shaft of a belt winding device via a spiral spring. When the door is opened, the spring case is rotated in the direction in which the spiral spring winds back, and when the door is closed, the spring case is rotated in the direction in which the spiral spring is wound tightly. When the door is opened, the spring rotates in the same direction as the belt is pulled out, which alleviates the tendency of the spring to tighten, allowing the door to open extremely smoothly. The spring is rotated to assist the winding, and the effect of stable and reliable restraint is achieved by eliminating the delay in belt attachment and making the restraint state by Sihert no different from the conventional one.
