Claims (1)
ンダと嵌合し油圧により駆動されるピストンにてディス
クロータに押圧し、制動作用を行なう自動車用の前輪デ
ィスクブレーキにおいて、前記ピストンを段付形状とす
るとともに、大径部を前記摩擦パッドに対面させて配置
し、前記シリンダは該ピストンに対応させた段付形状と
し、かつ、前記ピストンの小径部端面と該シリンダとに
より形成される第１油室と前記ピストンの段部と前記シ
リンダとにより形成される第２油室とを連絡する油路を
形成し、該油路中に所定以上の油圧差が生じた時に第１
油室から第２油室への油の流れを許容する第１逆止弁及
び第２油室から第１油室への油のもどりを許容する第２
逆止弁を設け、前記所定以下の油圧差においては前記第
１油室の油圧のみによりピストンを駆動して制動作用を
行ない、所定油圧差以上の場合には前記第１油室及び第
２油室の両方の油圧によりピストンを駆動して制動作用
を行なえるようにしたことを特徴とする自動車用の前輪
