    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. エンジンの軽負荷域で燃料の供給が遮断され新気のみが
    供給される休止側気筒と、常時燃料と新気が供給され作
    動を継続する稼動側気筒とを備えた気筒数制御エンジン
    において、排気連節を休止側気筒と稼動側気筒とに対応
    して触媒の直前まで分割し、この休止側排気通路と稼動
    側排気通路とを並列に配置すると共に、これらの外周部
    を覆う排気管カバーを取り付けたことを特徴とする気筒
    数制御エンジンの排気管装置。
