Conventionally, this type of lace is made by cutting the string material to a predetermined length in advance, and then manually wrapping reinforcing metal fittings such as celluloid or brass around both ends of the string. However, the process was extremely inefficient, and the drawback was that the quality of the product was particularly inconsistent. Therefore, the timing of each step of drawing out the string and winding and cutting the metal plate was adjusted relative to each other. Recently, methods have been proposed that involve a series of combined mechanical devices.

However, although this method has a simple process and is easy to standardize in terms of quality, since each process is performed in series using separate equipment, timing problems such as expansion and contraction of the string, slackness, and rotational inconsistency may occur. There were difficulties in fitting the parts together, and the products were inevitably inconsistent.

Furthermore, since it is difficult to match the timing in this manner, it is virtually impossible to carry out each process with one mechanical device, and it is also uneconomical in terms of installation space.

In view of the above-mentioned circumstances, the present invention eliminates these drawbacks, makes it possible to carry out all of the above steps automatically and with a single mechanical device, and streamlines production, including reducing labor costs. This method utilizes a pair of strap hanging frames having a plurality of hanging rods arranged oppositely at a required interval, and rotates the opposing hanging rods with a phase shift, making each rotation a cycle. Hanging the string consists of a passing operation, an operation of wrapping non-ferrous thin plates such as brass at regular intervals around the string, an operation of cutting the string together with the string at the center, and an operation of releasing the cut string. It is characterized by automatically repeating a series of operations in sequence and at the same timing.

FIG. 1 shows a mechanism for guiding the string that becomes the raw material in the method of the present invention. In the figure, 1 is a crank, 2 is a drive wheel, and 3 is the drive wheel 2 and guide rolls 4, 5, 6. Although not shown, the crank 1 converts the internal rotation into semicircular rotation of the drive wheel 2, causing the endless chain 3 to reciprocate, and fixing the metal fitting 7 at one point. By doing so, the string that is being let out is reciprocated, and the string 9 is successively and continuously passed to the tip of the string hanging frame 8 shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 in a deformed U-shape.

As shown in FIG. 3, the strap hanging frame 8 is formed by a plurality of hanging rods 10, four hanging rods in the figure, extending outward from the core member 11, as shown in FIG. The two pieces are coaxially fixed at a required distance from each other, and can be rotated by an appropriate drive source (not shown).

In addition, as shown in FIG. 2, this string hanging frame 8 is equipped with an iron frame 12 for hanging the string separately from the mounting frame 8 in order to stabilize the passing.
is provided adjacent to the inside, and a total of 16 pairs of scissors 13 that can be opened and closed, two for each end of the hanging rod of the string hanging frame 8, a total of 8, are installed, so that the strap hanging frame 8 can be opened and closed. The string guided by the rotation is continuously connected to the tip of the hanging rod of the frame 8 and the scissors 13.
The hook is passed through the hook in a deformed U-shape, and the scissors 13 are closed to fix the string, and then the string is rotated to the position where the next thin plate of non-ferrous metal such as brass is to be wound.

In this way, the hook that has been rotated to the second position to wind the thin metal sheet is attached to the passed cord, and then the winding device A installed at the position places the hook at a certain point, that is, a pair of strap hooks. A thin non-ferrous metal plate such as brass is wrapped around the frame at approximately the middle position as shown in Figure 5.
The basic structure of this winding device A is the same as that of conventionally known devices, and the required thin metal sheet 14 is, for example, a strip-shaped thin sheet with a width of about 10 to 60 mm and a thickness of about 0.1 mm, depending on the product set. It is cut to a length of about 7 μm, sent out in accordance with the moving speed of the string, and wrapped around the string using a pair of winding dies consisting of a clamping die and its receiving die.
