In the case of a casing that houses a transmission device, the case body is divided into parts at the shaft hole that supports the shaft in the casing, and these split case bodies are joined together and fastened to form the casing. For oil sealing, the conventional device uses a rubber seal C, which is integrally and continuously molded with a part a that seals the mating flat surfaces with oil and an annular part that seals the inner peripheral edge of the shaft hole with oil, as shown in Fig. 5. However, because this rubber seal has a complex three-dimensional configuration, it is difficult to handle during molding and assembly, resulting in extremely high overall costs and many practical disadvantages. be.

Reference numeral 8 denotes a backing that is attached to the mating surfaces of the case bodies 1 and 1', and is formed by punching out of a suitable sealing material, and holes 9 are provided in the aforementioned fastener insertion holes 4, respectively.
..., and a punched hole 10 in which the outer shape of the elastic annular sealing material 7 fits is bored at a location corresponding to the fitting portion 3b of the support portion 3, and both sides of this hole are It is formed by leaving continuous parts 11at11b that are continuous.

Therefore, when assembling the case body 1, 1' into a casing that supports and accommodates the transmission shaft, etc., the transmission shaft 2
After fitting the bearings, rings 5, oil seals 6, elastic annular sealing material 7, etc. to the case bodies 1 and 1', and assembling other necessary components to each case body 1, 1', the mating surface of one case body is fitted. Then, the backing 8 is fitted while performing actions such as pasting, and then the bearing 5 and the sealing material 7 of the transmission shaft 2 in the above-mentioned state are attached to the support part 3 half of the case body.
If the other case bodies are overlapped and tightened with the fasteners inserted through the fastener insertion holes 4, the casing will be in a state where the device consisting of the transmission shaft 2, etc. is housed. When assembling, the continuous parts 11a and I on both sides of the hole 10 in the backing can be assembled.
Since lb is pressed by the transmission shaft 2 as shown in Fig. 3,
The hole edge corresponding to the outer periphery of the elastic annular seal material in the hole of the backing is drawn toward the outer periphery of the elastic annular seal and is strongly pressed against the outer periphery, so that the assembly is automatically ensured and strong. After both case bodies 1 and 1' are tightened and fixed with the fastener, the backing is kept in pressure contact with the backing in the above-mentioned state by its tightening holding force, so that the continuous portion 11a.

1lbの存否に関係なく封緘状態を持続できるのである
The sealed state can be maintained regardless of the presence or absence of 1lb.

As explained above, the present invention has a structure in which split case bodies 1 and 1' are formed such that the shaft hole into which the transmission shaft 2 is inserted is divided into two semicircular arc parts, and are joined together at the mating surfaces. In the embodiment case, a punched hole 10 is formed in a portion corresponding to the shaft hole of the flat backing 8 sandwiched between the mating surfaces of the split case bodies 1 and 1', and a transmission shaft is inserted into the punched hole 10. The elastic annular sealing material 7 fitted in the elastic annular sealing material 7 is made to fit together, and the outer peripheral part of the elastic annular sealing material and the edge of the punched hole along this part are

Since the oil seal is made by pressing 1 lb, the outer periphery of the elastic annular sealing material fitted into the shaft hole and the hole edge along the outer periphery are connected to each other by the transmission shaft 2. 11a and 1lb can be brought into pressure contact and reliably sealed by pressing the parts 11a and 1lb, which can sometimes be done automatically when assembling the split cases together. Regardless, the area where the flat mating surface part and the shaft hole part are connected can be accurately sealed with oil, and the structure is significantly simpler than conventional equipment. This made it possible to simplify the work and reduce the overall cost.
