Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely make airtight, by arranging a dust collecting box below the main body of a titled precipitator and providing a cover to an inserting port of said box and a lever for connecting airtightly the surroundings of upper surface of the box to the inner wall of the precipitator through packings. CONSTITUTION:The main body 1 of a precipitator has a suction port 5 and a dust box inserting port 6 at its side face, and also has a gas exhausting port 7 at its upper surface. An open in front cover 9 is provided to the port 6, and opening and closing of the cover 9 is held by the body 1 with the aid of a fixture 10. Levers 11 are connected freely turnably to both of left and right ends of the cover 9 and also connected freely turnably to the levers 12 by making short axes 13 as the fulcrum.
