In a blast furnace charging distribution device that uses an armor plate to properly distribute the charge that is charged from the top of the furnace and falls from the large bell, an arm that passes through an opening in the furnace shell in the direction of the core is used. An armor plate is attached to the inner end of the arm, and the arm is attached to the furnace shell so that when the arm moves forward, the armor plate moves toward the furnace center while descending near the retracted position above the furnace wall. A link mechanism is provided to support the arm so that it can move forward and backward in the direction of the reactor core, and a drive device that drives the arm to move in and out through this link mechanism is provided, and the link mechanism is pivotally supported at an upper position on the inner end side of the arm.
