Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the braking effect, the ahead power, etc., by making a semi-spherical stock project at the middle of the top wall of a pin head end, and providing an annular projection or recess concentrically on the semi-spherical stock. CONSTITUTION:The stock (a) having a semi-spherical part projects approximately at the middle of the top wall 21 of the head end 2 of a spike pin 1, and the spherical surfaces 3, 3' of the stock (a) are provided with the annular projection or recess 4 or 5 that is concentric with the stock (a). The spike pin is mounted in a tire in such a way that the head end 2 is exposed into the rubber layer from the tread in a desired length. Thus as the tire is rotated, the pin 1 can repeatedly be moved back and forth arcuately a little with the center of the bottom wall 7 of the tail end 6 as a fulcrum point, and since the forward and rear side triangular parts of the pin 1 are eliminated, the paved road surface is hardly abraided.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION With the remarkable spread of automobiles in recent years, collisions and other accidents due to skids are occurring frequently, especially during periods of ice and snow or rain. In order to prevent these accidents, so-called spiked tires have been developed, but conventional spike pins for automobile tires can cause severe wear and tear on paved roads and road markings. In addition to the poor dash effect and the risk of skidding, some types of spike pins also had drawbacks such as being easily damaged or difficult to attach.

The present invention eliminates the above-mentioned drawbacks, has a strong braking effect and forward force on ice and snow, eliminates the worry of skidding, and reduces wear and tear on the paved road surface compared to conventional methods. It is an object of the present invention to provide an excellent spike pin for an automobile tire that is not easily damaged and is easy to install. An example of implementing the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

As shown in Drawing 1, the spike pin (hereinafter simply referred to as pin) 1 of the present invention has a top wall 2. Assume that a union a forming a part of a hemisphere is protruding from approximately the center of the sphere. There is an annular band 4 or a recess (#1 ridge shape) with a convex (#1 ridge shape) shape centered approximately at the center of the ring.
An annular band 5 having a groove-like shape is provided.

The center of the hole is formed near the bottom wall 7, which will be described later, and the surface of the combined body a and other desired parts are made of cemented carbide. For convenience, the flange-shaped portion (7 langes) generally provided near the tail end of the pin 1 is not shown.

Some conventional spike pins gradually wear out on one or both sides of the head end during use, and for example, the side view of the spike pin becomes worn out.
The curve of the upper surface of the merging sphere 3.3 m in the figure is as shown in the figure. Until then, the paved road surface has been severely worn down.

From the beginning, the present invention has focused on the spherical upper surfaces 3 and 3 of the union a as shown in the first diagram
1 has a substantially circular shape in the front and back when viewed from the side, so it does not cause severe wear on the paved road surface as in the conventional case. i.e. pin 1
As the tire rotates, it repeats a slight arcuate movement back and forth around the center of the bottom wall 7 of the tail end 6, with the grounding point of the pin L in between, Since the parts that should correspond to this are removed, there is less wear and tear on the sand-paved road surface.

Although the pin 1 is shown as a single unit for convenience, it has a double structure of an outer cylinder body and an inner shaft body like some commercially available products, and the above-mentioned pin 1 is attached to the top wall of the shaft head of the inner shaft body. The combination a can be provided in a protruding manner.
